My parents were long time friends of Sally & Bill, my mother singing in the church choir with them. Sally used to cut my hair, and my sister's. She was always there if we needed someone "not Mom" to talk to. My sincere condolences.  As I know too well it is beyond difficult to lose a parent. My Dad (Walter Huse) Preceded Sally by  just a few week; he died  the14th of May. I actually searched out her name so I could tell Sally & Bill the news.

Alison, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing! We learned of it over Memorial Day weekend while Mom was with us. We had not been able to see Mom since 3/19, and she was having surgery twice a week. I was grateful for the last days with her.
I remember initially being a bit afraid of your Dad— he was my school principal after all! But of course I sang in the choir with your Mom in the adult choir too. It must be so hard with both of them gone! You have my sincere sympathy. They were fine people and so proud of you all.

Sally taught me many things as I was growing up. I was kind of a rebellious teen and she was so patient and kind. I babysat for the kids and even went on a cross country camping trip to California with the family. I am most grateful for her teaching me how to knit. I have used that skill to help others and have made many gifts for family friends and people I have never met. I am sending my love to the Robinson kids who are now adults with children and grandchildren of their own. Love to Bill as well for being there when I needed some stern advice too! Love you all!!!
