Christopher Conlin

Christopher Francis Conlin, 55, longtime resident of Barnstable, MA passed away after a brief illness April 20. He was a 1984 graduate of St. Bernard’s CCHS in Fitchburg, MA and 1990 graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst.

He was the loving and devoted husband of Kristen (Vennberg) Conlin for 22 years. He and Kristen moved to Newcastle on the coast of Maine in 2017 where they enjoyed renovating an old farmhouse & their 2 Great Pyrenees Grumble & Leo. Christopher was an avid reader & history buff. He was a great conversationalist & fierce debater. He could debate both sides of an issue. You had better bring your facts & not just your opinions.

He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and his friendship will be missed by many. Christopher is survived by his wife Kristen, sister Elisabeth Kantor (Rich) of Little Buttermilk Bay MA, and brother Charles Conlin (Darcy) of Scituate MA., his mother in law Phyllis Vennberg of Yarmouthport, MA and sister in law Laura Moore (Albert) of Richmond, KY.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Pat. “Uncle Frannie” loved his nieces & nephews: Michael Davis, Thomas Davis, Samuel Davis, Kate Davis Cavallaro, Chet Conlin, Caylee Conlin, Crystal Adams & Samantha Vennberg.

Burial services are private. There will be a graveside memorial service Sunday 5/1 11:30 at Woodside Cemetery Summer St, Yarmouthport followed by a celebration of life at 48 Arrowhead Dr Yarmouthport.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Cape Cod #WGYB2T, PO Box 1120, Framingham, MA 01701.
