Andrew Griffin Obituary

Andrew R. Griffin, 30, of Pemaquid, passed away on the evening of June 26, 2019 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.  Born on January 15, 1989 in Bath, Maine, he was a son of Leslie Painton Griffin and Glenn Griffin. 

Andrew grew up in Bristol, and attended Bristol Consolidated School and Lincoln Academy. He spent most of his life on the water as a stern man, and in 2015 he started doing drywall for Irv’s Drywall in Warren and enjoyed the work very much.

Andrew made the most of life, and lived everyday to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with family, his children, and nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his brother, Ryan; Andrew is survived by his mother, Leslie of Pemaquid; father, Glenn of Nobleboro; sister, Samantha and boyfriend Evan of Bremen; brother, Tyler and his fiancé Rose of Waldoboro; daughter, Gabrielle of Pemaquid; son, Bentley of Newcastle; nephews, Joseph and Brody of Waldoboro; nieces, Isabelle and Madeline of Waldoboro; paternal grandparents, Leona and Kenny Farrin of Waldoboro; Carol Genthner of Damariscotta; maternal grandmother, Barbara Follett of Damariscotta; his dog, Maizy; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

There will be a time to gather with the family and remember Andrew from 4:00-6:00pm, on Monday, July 22nd at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home in Damariscotta.
